I joined the cosmetology program through dual-enrollment my junior year of high school. A time when, as the oldest in my family, I'd spent my whole life taking care of everyone else and never learned how to take care of me.

Since becoming a licensed stylist in 2017, I've learned that my job was never just about the end result. Every foil, every cut has a purpose: bringing out who my guest actually is.
